PROPERTY TAXES 2025 INFORMATION

Tax statements were mailed on March 27,2025

Tax bills are only sent out once a year for payment of both installments of your taxes.

MAY 12, 2025 SPRING INSTALLMENT DUE AND NOVEMBER 10, 2025 FALL INSTALLMENT DUE

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

1. MAIL – Remit Payment to Warren County Treasurer, 125 N Monroe St, Williamsport, IN 47993. (Postmarked by due date to be considered on time) Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope, if you want a receipt
2. IN PERSON – Warren County Courthouse Mon-Fri, 8-4pm.
3. BANKS – Farmers & Merchants Bank will be accepting payments until the due date. First Financial Bank starts accepting payments on April 1st-May10th and October 1st- November 10th. You must have your payment coupons to pay at either bank.
4. ONLINE BANKING or PHONE – Pay by credit/debit card or e-check at warrencounty.in.gov (Online Services). (Note: a convenience fee will be assessed to use this service) This site will be shut down for 30 days AFTER the Due Date, due to the late fees that will be assessed. Please call the office, after the due date, for the total amount due.

County Treasurer's Responsibilities: Thank you for visiting our website. It is our goal to diligently work for the good of the people and to bring first class service and professionalism as we serve the tax payers of Warren County. The Treasurer's office accepts all payment of taxes for real estate, personal property, mobile homes and inheritance tax. We also issue Mobile Home moving or transfer of title permits and sign property tax clearance schedules for liquor license permits. There are no fees for these permits.

The duties of the County Treasurer are described in Indiana Code 36-2-10. Some of these duties include:

• Collecting property taxes
• Balancing funds with Auditor each day
• Counter signing all county checks
• Investing county funds
• Issuing mobile home permits (transfer & moving)
• Validating liquor permits
• Collecting court judgments
• Facilitate Tax Sale, Certificate Sale

Additional Payment Locations:

The Treasurer's Office now accepts payments at all First Financial and Farmers Merchants Banks.  You must have your current tax statement coupon to accompany any payments; and you do not need to have an account with either bank to use this service.

The Warren County Treasurer online payment site is now GovTech Tax Collection and Escrow System for the Warren County taxpayers.  Please visit the link below to pay with credit/debit card or electronic check.
